Take me out to the ballgame! The 2021 spring training season is in full swing. After the cancellation of last year’s spring training season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Peoria residents can once again grab a hot dog, some popcorn, and a drink and sit in the sunshine to enjoy a game.

Of course, with all of this excitement, there will be policy changes to ensure patron safety during the games. We have compiled the most important information that you need to know before purchasing tickets.

Spring Training in Peoria AZ

  • Guests two years and older will be required to wear a mask unless they are eating or drinking in their ticketed seats.
  • Practice fields and Autograph Alley will be closed.
  • There will be no spitting allowed of sunflower seeds, tobacco, etc.
  • The stadium will be a cashless facility, using credit or debit payments only at the ticket office and concession stands.
  • No bags, purses or backpacks will be permitted, with the exception of medical bags, diaper bags and clutch purses not exceeding 5 x 9 inches.
  • Hand-sanitizing stations will be located throughout the ballpark.

Tickets will be sold in pods of one to four tickets and berm seating will be sold in pods of two, four or six tickets. The locations will be clearly marked and guests must sit in their designated area. Additionally, season and group tickets will not be available for the 2021 season.

The Peoria Sports Complex staff is committed to keeping baseball patrons safe throughout the entire experience. In order to ensure the staff is healthy, they will be required to complete daily self-screenings for COVID-19 symptoms at the start of their shifts. Staff will also be required to wear face masks and gloves throughout their shifts. Guests should also do a self-evaluation before attending a game. If they have come in contact with COVID-19 or are feeling sick, skipping the game is recommended.
