The Valley of the Sun has almost 110 days of temperatures reaching more than 100 degrees every year, some of those days exceeding 115 degrees or hotter. Not only is that uncomfortable to drive in, it’s unbearable for humans and animals to play in and poses a major health hazard. Luckily, Arizonans have perfected the art and science of indoor play. Peoria, in particular, has several indoor, air-conditioned playgrounds for kids that residents retreat to every summer. Here are the top five cool parks.
