Balloon Tours and Desert Dinner Parties
Have you ever wanted to fly over the Sonoran Desert? Well now, you can through a company called Cloth and Flame. They provide hot air balloon tours at sunrise and sunset that come with a chef-prepared dinner and desert. Before taking flight, guests are served fresh cookies and a hot or iced coffee depending on the weather. Guests are then taken up in the hot air balloon where they are able to see incredible views of Lake Pleasant and the Sonoran Desert.

For photography enthusiast there is a photography workshop in the sky to make sure you capture the trip you will not want to forget. After flying around the desert, the guests’ dinners are prepared tableside in the middle of the desert. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that is special to Peoria, AZ.

Visitors can use one of the provided telescopes and go stargazing. A one of a kind opportunity the whole family will enjoy while getting to learn about the moon, planets, nebulae, and galaxies.

Full Moon Kayaking Tours
Kayaking at Lake Pleasant is always fun but it is even better with the moonlight casting a glow over the water. Full Moon Kayaking Tours take off from Pleasant Harbor Marina and paddle into the sunset. The tour takes you to a quiet little cove where as a group you will enjoy toasting marshmallows and making s’mores. After the tour on Fridays and Saturdays, guests are welcome to stick around for live music at Dillon’s Bayou Restaurant at the marina.
