Event: Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival
Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Old Town Peoria, Peoria & Grand Avenues
Description: The City of Peoria and the Peoria Unified School District honor the community's past and celebrate the future through the Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival. The event is located at Peoria and Grand Avenues in the following venues: Osuna Park, Peoria's Center for Performing Arts, Peoria Historical Museums, Community Center and surrounding Streets. Students from Peoria Unified School District exhibit their artwork, perform dance routines, theater acts, choir and band on stages throughout the event. Attendees can watch pottery being made, family bike ride, wagon rides, and a kid's zone. To support the efforts of the Peoria Education Foundation, please visit their website at www.peoriaedfoundation.org. Participate in the Peoria Police Art Contest! Details will be coming in February. Event: Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunts
Time: 8 a.m. to Noon
Location: Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave.
Description: Enjoy a great event full of family fun and the chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Bunny! Held annually the Saturday before Easter, this event offers something for everyone. There are candy hunts for eight different age groups (10 and under) and one for individuals with disabilities. Highlights of the event include a petting zoo, pony rides, make & take crafts, face painting, carnival games, fun inflatables, and much more! Admission and parking are free when you bring canned food to benefit the St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank Alliance. Some activities require a nominal fee. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Description: This free, family event will feature a movie in the park. Zootopia will be shown along with other activities including a bike helmet fitting for kids, kids activities, food and more. Community Services, Neighborhood Resources, and Public Safety engage the Peoria community through these events held in parks throughout the city. Neighborhoods are brought together with free, fun, entertaining and informative activities. ParkFest! events are designed to connect the community by introducing neighbors and providing information about city services through a unique and creative festival atmosphere. The ParkFest! events were originally inspired by Mayor and Council through the City�s annual budget process utilizing the City Special Events team. The goal when coordinating these events is to enhance and expand on what was done in previous years of the program, continue to celebrate diverse populations and bring neighborhoods together in Peoria.
