Balloons glow on the field at the Sports Complex for the Halloween Monster Bash and Balloon Glow

Peoria offers events that both a spectator and a participant will enjoy. Community family events can be found throughout the year celebrating Easter, Halloween, winter holidays, 4th of July and the city's heritage. You say you like music? How about concerts featuring national and local acts under the stars at the Peoria Sports Complex or right down the road at Cricket Pavilion. If you enjoy playing or watching baseball, a variety of local, regional or national tournaments are offered throughout the year. How about professional baseball? Starting in late February, The San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners get ready for the regular season with spring training at the Peoria Sports Complex. A game a day in the month of March brings in such teams as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, Oakland A's, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Cactus League baseball treats fans with major league baseball in a minor league setting. With sun all year round, there is something for everyone in Peoria.
